Rx7 is based on the seven deadly sins, and their seven contemporary phamaceutical cures: Minute text (elaborate script) is laserprinted onto waterslide decal and applied to the surface of seven tablets/capsules... naming the sin related to the pharmaceutical product. The medications are held in place on the wall by metal claws, similar to jewelry settings, with two magnifying glasses hanging from chains on either side. The pills are spaced equally, 10-20cm apart. The act of "closer examination" which the audience undergoes in order to examine the text is a significant aspect of the work.
